In this column we start a new series on the JScript .NET-based IBuySpy Store. IBuySpy Store is a complete e-commerce application that is based on ASP.NET and MSSQL server technologies. It shows how easy it is to develop full-fledged server-side applications under the .NET framework. IBuySpy is an ASP.NET application, where the scripting can be written in C#, VB, or JScript .NET. You can find the C# and VB versions on the Web (www.asp.net). The JScript .NET version can be found only here.

In this first part of the series, we'll cover the breadth of the store, as opposed to its depth. We'll show you what kind of files are involved, how the directory structure is organized, how training material is presented, and how to install and deploy the application.
